Do you know.. the secret of the process to be a maid in Indonesia?
1. the maid to be has for medical check up. it cost Rp 300.000
2. the maid to be has to go to Ministry of man power, ask for recomendations letter.
3. the maid to be has to go to Imigrations apply for pasport it cost Rp 600.000
4. find a employer, send the docoment for apply visa, and get a free fiscal
All the prosess cost around Rp 5.000.000. That only if you did the process by yourself. and Without Airticket.
But if you get maid from Maid agency... You have to pay..... find yourself!
That's way.. I recomend you to get the girl straigth away from the source... save your money....

I have just finished reading most of the posts on your blog. I like what you say especially about maid job just like any other job, way to get money. I also am a maid but not in Indonesia. I live in with a family of 6 and like you just do housework,laundry,etc. Madam does most of the cooking, I help and clean up.
